£10k for Blackburn house

Edward Mellor has 76 lots on offer at its next auction on 2 May at Lancashire County Cricket Ground in Trafford.

The Stockport-based auction house said 52 of 70 lots were sold at the March auction, many above reserve.

Eye-catching lots at the next sale include Rope Cottage in Blackburn, a detached house in need of full renovation, with a guide price of £10,000. Another is a four-bed house on Thurlby Street in Victoria Park, Manchester on for £120,000.
