New managing partner at RLB

Property and cost consultancy Rider Levett Bucknall has appointed Russell Bolton to operate its Manchester office, replacing Chris Hartley.

Bolton joined from EC Harris, where he was office principal for Manchester. He has worked with clients including Peel, Bruntwood, Muse Developments and ITV.

Former managing partner Chris Hartley will remain in the Manchester team at Rider Levett Bucknall, responsible for business development and account management for a number of clients.

RLB Manchester is based at Salford Quays and employs more than thirty staff. The firm provides quantity surveying, project management and building surveying services to a number of key clients in the region.

Dean Sheehy, director at Rider Levett Bucknall, said: "We are delighted that Russell is joining us to lead our Manchester office. He has exactly the right experience and profile in the Manchester market and we are looking forward to him joining our leadership team and making a real difference to our business.

"He will add a new dynamic to our well-established Manchester team and our plans to expand in this vibrant market are very exciting; we're expecting to appoint up to ten more staff alongside our anticipated growth over the next few years."
