New homes planned for Denton Business Park

Building contractor McKnight & Son has lodged plans to build 54 new homes on a derelict industrial site in Denton Holme, Carlisle.
McKnight & Son, which owns the land bordered by Collingwood Street, Blencowe Street and Denton Street, want to build 23 three-bedroom town houses, 14 two-bedroom houses and 18 two-bedroom flats.
Cumbria Highways has already objected to the plans on the grounds that they are on land earmarked for a proposed south west inner ring road to take traffic away from the city centre.
