Network Space sets out 128,000 sq ft Speke intentions

Having won approval for 68,400 sq ft of industrial space in Aintree last week, the developer has lodged plans for a development almost twice the size in South Liverpool.

Network Space wants to build a single 128,000 sq ft unit on a vacant 6.7-acre site within Estuary Business Park.

Designed by Aew Architects, the unit would be constructed on the former Northern Airfield site off Leeward Drive.

The site is allocated for industrial or business development under Liverpool’s local plan.

Network Space’s plans call for a 116,800 sq ft industrial unit and 11,200 sq ft of ancillary office space. The developer is targeting BREEAM ‘very good’ accreditation.

Spawforths is advising on Network Space on planning.

Network Space’s current projects include the redevelopment of the 28-acre former Sovereign Distillery site in Huyton and a similar scheme on the former Cartwright site on Atlantic Street in Altrincham.
