Nathaniel Lichfield & Partners to rebrand

The national planning consultancy will change its name to Lichfields tomorrow, while the Manchester office prepares to relocate and take on more staff.

Currently based in One St James’s Square, Lichfields is set to move in to a 3,000 sq ft office in Ship Canal House on King Street next month.

Senior director and office head Michael Watts said the company is looking to hire, to increase headcount from the existing 20 to 30.

Lichfields has been based in Manchester for 15 years.

Watts said: “The office opened with four staff in 2002 and we have grown our client base and profile over the last 15 years.

“Our new home will help deliver a higher-quality environment for staff with break out areas and better meeting rooms, and will allow for expansion in the numbers being employed.

“Initially we are employing a graduate planner but other staff will follow and we can now accommodate for a 35% expansion in staff numbers.”

The new Lichfields name and brand will be in use from 14 February.

Lichfields has 215 staff across the country.
