Mulbury and One Vision start on £6.5m Euxton homes

The developer and the housing association together won consent for the 51-home Chorley scheme in June and aim to complete construction next November.

The scheme, called Daisy Bank Meadows, will provide 51 homes, 41 houses and 10 apartments arranged around two cul-de-sacs, available on shared ownership and affordable tenures. Mulbury is building the two-, three- and four-bedroom homes for One Vision Housing, part of the Sovini Group.

The five-acre development site is located between the A49 Wigan Road, Dunrobin Drive and the River Yarrow.

The scheme also features a public green created around an existing pond.

Glyn FazackerleyMulbury’s construction director, said: “Homes like these offer local people a chance to stay close to family members and the places where they grew up, and do so in a more affordable way.”

Ian Mitchell, managing director of One Vision Housing, said: “Daisy Bank Meadows forms part of our ongoing commitment to create thriving, inclusive communities.

“This development will provide affordable housing to the area in addition to creating opportunities for local residents to get onto the property ladder.”
