MTX wins place on modular framework

Handforth-based MTX Contracts has been named as one of the suppliers appointed to Fusion21’s expanded modular buildings framework.

Fusion21, the Prescot-based public sector procurement provider, set up a £225m four-year education-specific modular framework in May 2017, to which Wigan’s Cotaplan was named.

The new element of the framework is worth up to £175m over four years, and is broken down into education, health, ‘blue light’ buildings, general civic buildings and sport and leisure.

MTX is one of eight firms that have secured a place on the framework. It has been named to the education and health lots, which are worth up to £50m each. The business has a particular expertise in health, having been an NHS partner for close to 20 years.
