MRB opens in Manchester
MRB Consulting Engineers has agreed terms with Bruntwood to take space at 111 Piccadilly, allowing the Wetherby firm to service its North West clients.
The office will be run by MRB’s regional associate directors, Dan O’Connell and Matt Rangeley, and MRB will be looking to recruit additional engineers across all grades.
Bruntwood and MRB have a long-standing relationship, with the consultancy working for the developer for more than five years on projects including Platform and 3 Sovereign Square in Leeds.
John McElwee, managing director at MRB Consulting Engineers, said: “111 Piccadilly is in a fantastic central location, within a hub of design and property consultancies so we felt it was an obvious choice for us when it came to choosing a base for our Manchester office.
“Having worked with Bruntwood for many years now, we were confident that its flexible and scalable approach to commercial lettings would enable our business to thrive in the North West.”
Bruntwood director Craig Burrow said: “We have been working with John and the team for many years on projects in Leeds and we are delighted to support their expansion in to Manchester. We are certain their experience, knowledge and approach will prove successful in the North West markets.”
John,
Great to see you and the guys over in Manchester. I always enjoyed our work together in Leeds, here’s hoping we can continue our relationship in Manchester.
