MIPIM VIDEO | How can the North West win over science and tech businesses?

Bruntwood’s Jessica Bowles shares how cities can attract investments from innovators and be more responsive to changing business needs.

Bowles is the director of strategy at Bruntwood, which, through its Sci-Tech venture with Legal & General, has been active in furthering the North West’s role in scientific and tech advancement. Bruntwood Sci-Tech is behind science campus Alderley Park in Cheshire and Circle Square in Manchester. It is also one of the partners behind Liverpool Science Park operator Sciontec.

Bowles spoke to Place North West in Cannes during MIPIM, the international property conference. Life sciences developments were one of the topics discussed at the event, with Liverpool City Council chief executive Tony Reeves featuring on a panel about the UK’s life sciences vision earlier that day.
