MIPIM 2008: Manchester architects announce merger

Two of Manchester's longest standing architectural practices, Fairhursts Design Group and Cruickshank & Seward, today announced their merger.

FDG was founded in 1896 and in Cruickshanks in 1923. Denver Humphrey, director of FDG, said: "The complementary skills of both practices, now over 125 strong, will help consolidate a major practice's position both in the Manchester region and nationally."
