Miller puts in for 62 Davenham homes

The housebuilder has lodged plans to build a mix of apartments, terraced, semi-detached, and detached houses on a 6.5-acre plot in the Cheshire village.

Situated off Jack Lane, Miller Homes’ project would see the construction of 43  market homes and 19 affordable ones, with between one and four bedrooms. Most of the properties will be three-bedroom residences, with 13 to have four bedrooms, 12 to have two, and four to have one.

In addition to the houses, the scheme includes 2.4 acres of open space.

John Hardy, land director at Miller Homes North West, said: “We are pleased to have submitted plans for this proposed development in Davenham. There continues to be strong demand for new homes across the region, and our proposals would provide a diverse mix of properties to suit buyers at different stages of life, alongside a significant provision of affordable housing.”

The project team includes NJL Planning, Eddisons, E*Scape, Ascerta, LandStudio, and RSK.

The application had not been validated on Cheshire West and Chester Council’s planning portal at the time of publication.
