Métier appoints hotel land buyer

The Alderley Edge-based property and investment group Métier has appointed Nick Maguire as land buyer.

Maguire will work on the group's new specialist hotel and leisure sector venture, which was launched last July to coincide with the signing of the Group's first deal in this sector at Forest Street, Chester, with the CHE Hotel Group for a £6m, 50 room Sleep Inn budget hotel.

His remit will involve the acquisition and assembly of hotel development opportunities.

Maguire, 27, joins Métier from retirement homes specialist developer, McCarthy and Stone where he was a land buyer for over four years.
