MCR plans 260 apartments at Trafford Plaza

MCR Property Group has revealed early plans for its residential conversion of Trafford Plaza in Seymour Grove, Old Trafford following the purchase of the office building from Bruntwood.

MCR subsidiary Hazelloch is planning to build 170 apartments in a new block replacing the car park to the rear of the main office block. The new building will step in height from 10 to 16 storeys. There will be 160 car parking spaces and 170 bike spaces. The flats will be a mix of one and two bedrooms.

The new building will sit alongside the existing Trafford Plaza, which will be retained and has permission to be converted into 90 apartments.

Roman Summer Associates is advising MCR.
