Martin Stockley sets up new practice
Martin Stockley has handed over control of his previous business and set up a new consultancy called Stockley Urban Engineering, based in London and Manchester.
He said he will build on his 40 years of experience in structural design, civil and infrastructure engineering and is already advising on a masterplan for a creative quarter in central Moscow for the mayor's office. Stockley UE will operate as part of the Iesis property consultancy which he already chaired. Iesis has offices in Bath, Bristol, Cardiff and London.
Stockley said: "Stockley Urban Engineering is a new company but very much follows the approach and aims of the Stockley practice of the past 16 years. The structure within Iesis allows me the freedom to continue to explore my wider interests as well as remaining involved with the essential stuff of making things."
Martin is no longer employed by Stockley Broster O'Malley, trading as Stockley, and will sell his shareholding in due course. His former business will continue to be managed by Stephen O'Malley and Julian Broster.
