Manufacturer moves in to Britannia

Shipping manufacturer Alucatz Catamarans has taken over the 15,000 sq ft Peel Land & Property's Britannia Business Centre in Birkenhead for a new base.

The business specialises in the manufacturing of high speed interceptor patrol boats and also makes passenger vessels, super yachts and floating dry docks. The company secured a £16m contract with the Pakistan Coast Guard last year for newly-designed interceptor patrol boats.
