Manchester promotions catch the eye amid Turley changes
Gavin Amos has been made head of economics, while Rebecca Merridew steps up to director in the landscape & design team at the employee-owned consultancy.
In all, Turley has announced 25 promotions across its UK and Ireland teams.
Based from Manchester, Amos’s role is national. He will lead Turley’s UK economics including work on large-scale industrial and logistics, town and city centre regeneration, new communities and the digital economy.
Merridew’s promotion strengthens Turley’s placemaking and design expertise, with experience ranging from landscape strategies for large scale strategic sites down to detailed designs for smaller residential schemes.
Also promoted is Olivia Carr, recognised for her work in leading complex development proposals in being promoted to director in the North planning team.
Stephen Bell, Turley chief executive, said: “As an employee-owned business, there’s nothing more rewarding than seeing colleagues grow and progress through their careers. We’re proud of the diverse talent across Turley, and these promotions recognise the commitment and impact our people deliver for clients.
“Our co-owners are central to the strength of our offer and our ability to help clients deliver sustainable growth and thriving places.
“It’s fantastic to see promotions across such a broad range of disciplines, sectors and regions as we continue to build our expertise across the UK and Ireland.”
