Macbryde eyes April start in Denbigh
The housebuilder aims to start building 64 homes in North Wales after securing approval last week.
The 5.2-acre site sits between Old Ruthin Road and New Ruthin Road. The scheme, which will be known as Cae Felin, will provide a mix of two-, three-, and four-bedroom homes and prices will start from £154,995.
The company plans to launch the units for sale by the end of spring.
Macbryde purchased the site from a local landowner for an undisclosed sum, with Jones Peckover as agent.
Gwyn Jones, managing director of Macbryde Homes, said: “The housing need across the region is well documented and as a locally based firm, we are all too aware of this. Therefore, to get the green light on these new homes is great news and we’re anticipating strong local interest when we start on site.
“Denbigh itself has a wealth of amenities that are well placed to support the existing and future local population and we’ve ensured that as a part of our plans, provision is made for public recreational space. Landscaping and tree planting will also be integral to the site.”
Barton Willmore is the planner and designer. Ascerta is the landscape architect.
