Macbryde buys Denbigh housing site

Housebuilder Macbryde has confirmed plans to bring 60 homes to Denbigh after completing its purchase of a 5.3-acre site.

The plot of land between Old and New Ruthin roads already has outline planning permission, and a detailed planning application will be lodged with Denbighshire Council in the near future. Macbryde Homes is set to commence construction in spring 2020.

The houses are anticipated to be a mix of two-, three-, and four- bedroom homes, with prices starting from £149,995. Public recreation space, landscaping, and tree planting are also planned for the site.

Gwyn Jones, Macbryde’s managing director, said: “As a North Wales-based housebuilder, we are aware of the housing needs across the region and have a strong track record of delivering quality developments that meet the local need. We believe that our proposed mix of homes will appeal to a wide range of purchasers including first time buyers, growing families and young professionals.”

good to see the area finally progressing to site, a bit of a battle to get it over the line the last time but worthwhile, very good site.
