Macbryde appoints Finlay to lead expansion drive
Macbryde Homes has hired Simon Finlay as head of development from Galliford Try Partnerships.
He joins in a newly-created role as the St Asaph-based housebuilder looks to increase its market share across North Wales and the North West.
Finlay, who has also held roles at Barratt Partnerships and David Wilson Homes, will report to managing director Simon Macbryde.
Commenting on the appointment, Macbryde said: “The ever-increasing need for more quality housing means that we have set our sights on expanding our operations through increased output and a stronger presence in the North West of England.
“Simon joining the team is central to the success of that vision and his experience will help access land for development across the region and help us realise greater market share.
“I don’t doubt that Simon will help to bring the quality, reputation and style of Macbryde Homes to a far greater audience in the coming few years and we’re delighted to have him on board.”
Projects Macbryde Homes is working on include an £18m 171-home development in Ellesmere Port, which was given the green light by Cheshire West & Chester Council in October 2016.
