Logistics firm leases 117,000 sq ft Warrington warehouse

Revolution Transport Services has agreed to take the industrial facility at 27 Leacroft Road in Birchwood on a 10-year lease as the company expands.

The 116,995 sq ft facility is owned by government agency Homes England, which was represented in the deal by joint agents Lambert Smith Hampton and Eddisons.

Logistics solutions provider Revolution Transport Services already occupies space at the Clayton Road Industrial Estate in Warrington, and has leased the warehouse as an additional unit to its main facility as it expands its operations.

27 Leacroft Road is a single-storey warehouse with an extensive yard in the Risley Employment Area, close to the M6 and the M62 motorway networks.

Guy Jackson, director of industrial at Lambert Smith Hampton, said: “Location and timing were critical for Revolution Transport. We were able to provide the unit for the company quickly, in a location as close as possible to their existing site.

“This letting is also testimony that demand is still strong in the big box sector, where we are seeing businesses take a more strategic view and developers actively building speculative units in the region to meet continued demand, even in these uncertain times.”
