Logicor proposes Altrincham industrial revamp

Ageing units on a site off Atlantic Street in Broadheath are to be demolished and replaced with 40,000 sq ft of modern space, under plans lodged by the developer.

The two-acre site, previously known as Lyon Industrial Estate, is owned by Redwood (Light Industrial) Propco, a Luxembourg-based investor, and managed by Logicor.

Designed by UMC Architects, the scheme would see 38,000 sq ft of space that no longer meets occupier requirements knocked down and 40,000 sq ft of modern space built across three new units.

Tor & Co is advising Logicor on planning.

The developer owns two more industrial units north of the application site that are unaffected by the proposals.

To learn more about the plans, search for reference number 111184/FUL/23 on Trafford Council’s planning portal.

Network Space is delivering a similar, albeit larger, project nearby.

The developer is redeveloping the former Cartwright headquarters on Atlantic Street and creating a 196,000 sq ft modern industrial complex on the 11.5-acre site.
