Work underway on Lidl’s Bromborough site

The council has purchased the 70,000 sq ft retail building for £2m, to help facilitate the next part of its regeneration of the town centre.

The housebuilder has been granted planning permission to build 12 homes at Egerton Street in Sutton, aimed at people with particular needs or who have been homeless and wish to live independently.
