Vella signs up for Trafford Park warehouse

LSE Retail Group has agreed a lease at the 136,000 sq ft warehouse in Irlam with developer Marshall CDP.

Cleartech Communications has signed a five-year lease to take the 3,700 sq ft Chesham House at St Georges Square office park. 

The mayoral development corporation has hired three high-profile directors, including past RICS president Louise Brooke-Smith, to join its board as it progresses large-scale regeneration projects in the town.

The investor has sealed a ground rent deal under which it will acquire the freehold of more than 1,800 residential and commercial properties across Bolton and increase the value of its portfolio by 50% to £100m.

Architecture and design practice AEW Architects has completed a management buyout led by managing director Andy Rainford and director Colin Savage.

The law firm has taken 4,700 sq ft at the development off Trinity Way in Salford on a six-year lease, relocating from long-term home 90 Deansgate, where it occupied 9,250 sq ft. 

The Lowry in Salford has agreed terms with the Ministry of Justice to house a temporary court space.

The construction products provider is to move to Himor’s Carrington Gateway, where it has taken the scheme’s largest unit, comprising 104,000 sq ft.

Peel L&P’s housebuilding arm has appointed Joanna Allen as head of partnerships and development, bolstering the team headed by development director Jonathan England.
