Plans in for £11.5m Curry Mile resi and retail

Three years after being approved, the developer’s £100m Arundel Street project is edging towards a start on site.

Designed by Sheppard Robson, the vacant 83,500 sq ft office building on Manchester’s King Street will be refurbished, becoming the developer’s latest Pioneer workspace. 

The creation of The Foundry, an entertainment, enterprise and cultural hub at the former Presbar Diecasting Foundry on Store Street, would provide “economic and social regeneration” to the surrounding area, according to the city council. 

Salboy and Relentless have formed a 50/50 joint venture to deliver the 40-storey tower in Manchester, which is set for a 2026 completion.
