LK Group strengthens with hat-trick of hires
The geo-environmental consultancy and remediation contractor has appointed Nick Riding as director and also recruited an associate director and a remediation manager.
Riding joined LK Group earlier this month having spent 16 years with Clancy Consulting, seven of which he spent as division director.
Riding will focus his expertise on the company’s ground investigation team, working with current directors to drive growth.
He expressed his delight in joining and added: “The company’s commitment to supporting land development and delivering exceptional partnerships with our clients aligns perfectly with my professional values.
“I look forward to working with the talented team here and the exciting projects we have in the pipeline.”
Matthew Bell has joined LK Group as associate director for the flood risk and drainage department. He arrived from TetraTech where he also held the role of associate director for two years.
LK Group said his appointment would strengthen the existing team “at a pivotal moment for sustainable water management” in the UK. Bell has 18 years of flood consultancy experience.
Will Fitzpatrick is LK’s third recent hire, joining the business as remediation manager. His experience spans both residential and commercial markets, and he has worked across the industry with clients ranging from housebuilders to blue-chip companies.
Conor Leyden, director at LK Group, said: “Expanding the team is always a proud moment for us, particularly given our roots as a family-run business.
“We know that having the right people in place is essential to delivering exceptional results for our clients, and these recruits will play a pivotal role in strengthening our capabilities. We can’t wait to see the impact they make in their respective roles.”
LK Group is headquartered in Manchester and employs 50 people. The firm’s schemes include remediation work at Glenbrook’s 693-home Lumina Village in Old Trafford.
