Lichfields promotes O’Connor to senior director
In his new role, Brian O’Connor will work alongside fellow senior directors Simon Pemberton and Rebecca Caines.
Lichfields has promoted O’Connor from his previous role as planning director. He has been with the business for nearly 15 years. He joined in 2010 having left his position of development control manager at Galway County Council.
During his time at Lichfields he has worked across the residential, industrial, logistics, and energy sectors in the North West and North Wales.
Lichfields chief executive James Fennell said: “Brian’s promotion to senior director reflects his success in fostering highly productive client relationships and his detailed knowledge of the North West market.
“The office is in very good shape, and we have ambitious plans to grow.”
O’Connor, Pemberton, and Caines are supported by a team of 25 people based out of an office on Manchester’s King Street.
“I am thrilled to step up into this new role and am grateful to our clients that employ our services and the great team of people I work with,” O’Connor said.
“We are expecting a busy year ahead and I am looking forward to working with existing and new clients as the planning reforms start to take effect.”
Lichfields current projects include Forshaw Land and Property’s 24-storey Cornbrook tower and Frogmore’s major mixed-use regeneration of Cotton Quay in Salford, and Taylor Wimpey’s 500-home Gartons Lane project in St Helens.
