Lichfield appoints two planning directors

Katie Howarth and Kirstie Oakey have been promoted from their previous positions as associate directors at the planning and development consultancy.

Howarth and Oakey have started their new roles as planning directors at the company’s King Street office in Manchester, which currently employs 23 people.

Howarth joined Lichfields in 2006 and was promoted to associate director in 2015. She has experience in a range of planning work, from the submission of applications to the co-ordination of Environmental Statements.

Oakey joined the company as a planner in 2014, before her promotion to senior planner in 2016 and associate director in 2019.

Chief executive James Fennell said: “These promotions reflect the excellent work these staff have undertaken for our clients. We have achieved another year of record revenue levels and our promoted staff have played a big part in that success.

“The promotions are extremely well deserved and reflect Lichfields’ continued focus on investing in our staff and in the future growth of the business,” he continued.

“The promotions encapsulate the diversity of talent we have at Lichfields, across all our offices and functions.”

Howarth and Oakey are joined in their promotions by Clover Long. Long started at Lichfields in June last year, and has been promoted from her position as planner to senior planner.
