Letting completed at Stone Cross

Maple Grove Developments, advised by P3 Property Consultants, has signed up a new office tenant at Stone Cross Court in Golbourne, near Wigan.

Rock Networks, an IT and telecoms business which recently won investment from the North West Fund, has taken a five-year lease on 3,375 sq ft at an annual rent of £40,500 a year.

Stewart DeRoma, managing director of Rock Networks, said: "Owing to its strategic location, Stone Cross Park is in an ideal spot for us to access all of our markets and customers with ease, and as we grow also attract the right calibre of staff. We expect to do very well here."

Stone Cross Court is part of the wider Stone Cross Park. Totalling 27,250 sq ft, the Court provides self-contained office buildings from 3,304 sq ft to 11,710 sq ft or suites to fit from 1,685 sq ft and the accommodation is available on either a leasehold or freehold basis. The development opened for business in September 2008 and there are now two buildings and a single floor suite left, totalling 12,300 sq ft.

The development is on the A580 East Lancs Road, near J23 M6.

Phil Meakin, partner at P3 Property Consultants, advising Maple Grove, said: "Everyone knows we are in a difficult market however if you look hard enough deals are out there to be done. Rock is the fourth new occupier in quick succession and takes us well past the half way mark. Stonecross is really rolling."
