Lang to head Infinity property investment fund

Abito co-founder Les Lang has joined Manchester-based start-up private equity fund Infinity Asset Management.

Lang formed apartment developer Abito with Ken Knott's Ask Developments in 2004. He recently resigned as managing director and sold his 15% stake to Ask.

At Infinity he will run a £100m property investment fund with an eye on developments between £5m and £20m.

Infinity has offices in Bruntwood's City Tower and was formed by ex-BDO partner Daniel Finestein.

Abito's first scheme, now complete, was at Greengate in Salford and another is under way at Clippers Quay, Salford Quays. Ask plans a national roll-out for the brand.
