Lane End hires from Wates

Warrington-based property group Lane End has added quantity surveyor Grant Andrews to its team.

Andrews previously worked for Wates, where his projects ranged from a £26m office block to a £5m agricultural college and an £11m pre-cast concrete frame multi-storey car park.

At the Lane End Group, he is working on the Beech Tree development in Barnton, a brownfield development for Adactus featuring 34 houses, where he is responsible for procurement, cost reporting, subcontractor management and client liaison.

Andrews said: “I’ve worked closely with clients on-site during my career, and I’m keen to use that experience, as well as my knowledge of many different types of construction projects, to provide the best possible level of service at the Lane End Group.”

Lane End has strategic land, development and construction divisions. Other projects it is currently working on include Station Road, Delamere, for Trafford Housing Trust, and Carrington Fields, a 58-home scheme in Stockport, a scheme it is delivering for Stockport Homes.
