Lancaster Uni names M&E framework partners

Lancaster University has named the successful bidders that will make up its mechanical & electrical engineering services framework, as it prepares to deliver a £159m capital expenditure programme over the next four years.

The framework covers two years initially, with an option to extend for the same period. The framework document comprises three lots, one pertaining to projects worth up to £4m , one covering projects worth between £4m and £20m and the final lot covering projects worth between £20m and £60m.

Hoare Lea, Pick Everard and WYG Engineering have been appointed to all three lots. Hilson Moran has been appointed to Lot 1, covering small projects, BDP to the medium sized projects-based Lot 2, and Couch Perry Wilkes to the large projects framework.

In December, Lancaster announced its civil and structural engineering framework partners. The university’s plans include a £200m project at its management school, for which the architect is Feilden Clegg Bradley.
