Lab specialist invests in Rochdale office

Boulting Environmental Services, a design and construction firm specialising in cleanrooms and laboratories, has moved into new premises at Rochdale’s Sandbrook Park, a relocation that has seen it double its floorspace to 10,000 sq ft.

Boulting was previously based in Middleton on the Greengate Industrial Estate.

The company acquired two adjacent 4,000 sq ft offices, Maple House and Rowan House, and has invested £500,000 in adding an extension to connect the two buildings.

Steve Marsh, managing director, said: “In the last two years, BES has experienced exceptional growth; it has trebled its turnover and increased its staff numbers to match. The major investment in our impressive new office space means that our facility now matches the ambition of the business. The move to Sandbrook Park will also give our team room to grow again and we expect to further strengthen our team again in 2017.

“The collaborative workspace will improve the output and efficiency of our engineers. Our people are our greatest asset and the new facility will enable our project teams to work together on design and construction projects in an open and vibrant environment.”
