Knowles joins Muse as director

Steven Knowles has joined the company as director of development in the North West having left Harworth late last year.

Muse has secured the services of a man with more than 30 years of experience in property and development.

Knowles spent 14 years at St Modwen between 2003 and 2017, rising through the ranks from development manager to regional director.

He then left St Modwen to head up Harworth’s North West team, a role he held until last December, which has now been filled by former JLL director Andrew Pexton.

Knowles said: “I’m proud to be joining such an innovative and progressive business in Muse and I’m looking forward to working with our passionate team of property professionals, who create opportunities for communities to thrive and prosper.”

In his new role, Knowles will work across the developer’s North West stable of projects, which includes the ongoing regeneration of Salford Central and schemes in St Helens, Prestwich, and Manchester.

Phil Mayall, managing director for Muse in the North West, said Knowles’ appointment forms part of the company’s growth plans.

“Given our strategic expansion right across our business, we’re delighted to secure Steven’s services.

“We’re at a really exciting time for the business, as we build brighter futures, together with public and private-sector partners, that focus on connecting people and place together seamlessly.”
