Kenmore gets go-ahead for Royal London House

Kenmore has been granted planning permission to refurbish Royal London House, acquired in Manchester city centre for £13.75m at the start of this year.

The 45,000 sq ft Grade II-listed building at 196 Deansgate needs upgrading to keep pace with new offices such as the nearby Spinningfields.

Kenmore commissioned Manchester architect Buttress Fuller Alsop Williams to create the building's new look. A contractor is currently being sought to carry out the work, scheduled to start early next year.
