Karrev appoints director of leasing

The owner of Sunlight House in Manchester and Martins Bank in Liverpool has appointed Benn Dickinson to find occupiers for the historic assets.

Karrev has hired Dickinson from Orbit Developments, where he was a project director. He has also had stints at Bruntwood Works and Jordan Fishwick.

The director of leasing role he has taken at Karrev is a newly created position.

Dickinson joins the firm as it approaches completion of the £35m refurbishment of Sunlight House and prepares to kick start the stalled Martins Bank redevelopment, one of the few large scale workspace projects in Liverpool.

Dalton Place in Manchester, which is majority let to WeWork, and Amber House in Leeds complete Karrev’s Northern holdings.

“Karrev is building something truly distinctive, reimagining historic buildings as places where businesses can thrive in modern, sustainable environments,” Dickinson said.

He will work in Karrev’s Manchester office alongside fellow directors Olivier Scherb and Louise Dean, as well as managing director Julien Buronfosse.

“Benn’s appointment marks the beginning of an exciting new phase for Sunlight House and our portfolio. His expertise and vision will be vital in shaping the next generation of leasing across our portfolio, ensuring that our spaces are not only filled with great businesses, but also supported by industry-leading tenant experience.”
