Karrev appoints Dean to manage office portfolio

The former Re:volve director has moved to the investor currently redeveloping Sunlight House in Manchester and Martins Bank Building in Liverpool.

Louise Dean has been appointed as director of property management at Karrev.

She will be charged with delivering an “outstanding occupier experience” across Karrev’s Grade A office portfolio, the firm said.

During her time as director at Re:volve, Dean oversaw Harworth Group’s more than 10m sq ft in industrial and logistics assets, notably the Logistics North industrial site in Bolton.

She will call on more than six years of experience as an associate director at CBRE, where she managed offices such as Hardman Square and 2 St Peter’s Square.

Dean said she is joining the Karrev at at “transformational time”.

“The relaunch of Sunlight House is a milestone project not just for Manchester, but for the future of heritage-led, sustainable workplaces.

“I look forward to helping shape an outstanding occupier experience across the building and the wider portfolio.”

Karrev owns both Liverpool’s Martins Bank at the Water Street Building and Manchester’s grade two-listed Sunlight House, with its £35m refurbishment due to be completed imminently and was previously redeveloping them in partnership with Kinrise.

Last year, Kinrise and Karrev parted ways on the projects and the latter took full control.

In her new role, Dean will take responsibility for the future of the two sites.

Richard Morgan, director of leasing and asset management at Karrev, added: “Louise’s appointment reflects our continued focus on delivering best-in-class operations and occupier experience.

“We are delighted to have her on the Karrev team.”

Would be brilliant to see the Martins Bank building brought back into use.
