Jones Melling adds two North West offices
The property and construction consultant has opened offices in Chester and Preston as it continues its expansion in the region.
The company has relocated from Risley, near Warrington to open two sites: one on Preston’s Guidhall Street, near Winckley Square; and another on Watergate Row in the centre of Chester. Each of the offices is around 1,500 sq ft.
Jones Melling employs around 15 staff and this year received a six-figure funding deal from the Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund to support its expansion. The company was founded by Ken Jones and Gary Melling in 2009.
Clients the company has worked with include Renaker on Manchester’s Deansgate Square; Fairhome Group; and Capstone Care on a 54-bed care home in Bury.
Director Gary Melling said: “It’s almost 10 years since Ken and I started the business and we’ve grown significantly in that time. We’ve built a great team and we’re working nationally with some major businesses, so felt it was the right time to invest in the next phase of our growth.
“Having two north west offices and our London hub gives us to access to a larger talent pool and added flexibility to support our clients across the UK.”
It also has an office in London to service clients in Southern England.
