Technical director hired at Miller

Housebuilder Miller Homes has appointed David Brackley as its new technical director covering the North West, based out of Newton-le-Willows.

The appointment supports Miller Homes’ strategy to actively acquire land across the region in order to fulfil the demand for homes.

Brackley will lead the planning, architecture and engineering functions for Miller Homes North West and delivering the new developments.

He is a civil and structural engineer, who has worked at Persimmon Homes and most recently David Wilson Homes, where he was senior technical manager.

Steve Birch, managing director of Miller Homes’ North region, said: “This is an exciting time for Miller Homes as we look to build on the strong presence we have in the North West. With David lead the technical function we are well placed to explore new developments and deliver more award-winning and sustainable homes for our customers across the region.”

Miller Homes has seven active developments in the North West, and has recently started work on two new schemes in Warrington and Chorley. An additional 300 homes are planned for across the region in 2017.
