Do you have experience of supporting commercial property surveyors? Perhaps you’re looking to utilise your existing experience within this sector with a fresh challenge in a niche role? If so, read on.

Due to continued regional growth, my client is seeking to appoint a Surveying Executive within its Property & Asset Management department, which is based in the firm’s Manchester city-centre office.

The role

The purpose of this role is to support the delivery of property-management services to clients by the surveying team, and includes report generation, data management, H&S risk management, insurance administration, and other routine administrative tasks.

Additionally, you will provide general administrative assistance to the company’s property manager and assist in client reporting on all aspects of property management, including preparation of client pro-forma for instructions.

What you’ll bring

By using your superior numeracy and literacy skills, you will assist with the management of fee-forecasting and raising systems, including the calculation and recovery of fees. Other aspects of this Manchester-based surveying role will include maintaining trackers of property inspections, disposals, client reporting, and liaising with landlords and tenants on day-to-day issues.

As the successful surveying executive in Manchester, you will have previous experience of working within commercial property, along with a basic knowledge of property-management matters, including lease structures and service charge accounting. You’ll also have excellent administration skills and be a confident user of Microsoft Office.

The right surveying candidate will be customer-service driven with excellent communication skills. As well as previous experience of writing reports, you will be a methodical individual and a detail-conscious organiser.

The following benefits package is available to the successful Manchester surveying executive:

  • Salary up to £27,500 DOE
  • 25 days’ holiday
  • After two years’ service
  • Life assurance up to 4x salary
  • Private health care
  • Pension scheme
  • Group income protection
  • Annual discretionary bonus

My client offers real scope for career development for a dedicated, professional, and enthusiastic individual with a strong work ethic, who wants to join one of the market leaders in the property and asset-management field.
