Regenda is now recruiting a Strategic Project Manager to work with our Development team at our fantastic new offices in the heart of Liverpool city centre.
About the role
We are looking for a Strategic Project Manager to provide to take a lead role in the coordination and management of strategic regeneration projects that are key to the achievement of the Development Programme targets and the Group’s Growth Plan. You will identify and appraise new business opportunities to support the Group’s Growth Plan and lead on researching and reporting of new and emerging policies, procedures and funding opportunities which will inform and impact on the delivery of the Development Strategy. You will provide line management for support staff as and when required.
Regenda are taking forward an ambitious development programme with a new corporate plan to deliver over 1200 units up to 2023. The Groups programme is one of the most diverse and innovative in the region and covers a variety of tenures. We are currently on site with housing for sale and PRS developments across the North West along with a programme of grant funded affordable housing that includes a number of shared ownership developments and an Extra Care scheme. Much of our programme is now delivered by our in-house construction team.
The Group is active in working with stakeholders to bring forward major regeneration in Liverpool City Centre where we are planning to invest over £50m in new development. A Project Manager, November 2018 major regeneration project will see a multi tenure offer supported by a focus on placemaking and quality design.
A further priority for the Group is in developing an approach to regeneration in a number of our key areas across the region. We are investing significantly in our housing stock in Fleetwood and this is supported by an approach to regeneration that incorporates significant development opportunities.
We are seeking a Strategic Project Manager with an understanding on the strategic context that these major projects demand. This role, reporting to the Head of Development will also work closely with other senior staff together internal teams and external stakeholders to progress the major projects in Liverpool and Fleetwood. Whilst the postholder will be based at our head office in Liverpool they will be required to identify and bring forward new business leads across the Groups areas of operation in the North West. Whilst a background in development within a social housing organisation is advantageous we are looking for someone with an aptitude for progressing strategic projects working with a variety of public and private sector organisations and with the ability to coordinate complex delivery issues. Researching and reporting on new and emerging policies, procedures and funding opportunities you will also inform and impact on the delivery of the groups Development Strategy.
