My client has a superb opportunity for an experienced Planner to join its growing team in Manchester.

The Senior / Associate Planner will become a key member of the national planning team and will manage and contribute to a wide variety of projects including the residential, commercial and retail sectors. As a consequence of their growing workload the team are keen to strengthen with experienced Planners who will be tasked with delivering advice to established clients, managing the preparation and submission of planning applications and the promoting of sites.

The ideal Senior / Associate Planner will have a demonstrable track record of experience in handling applications, appeals, liaising with clients and Planning Officers and promoting sites. Chartered RTPI membership is essential as this a key strategic hire for the growth of the office with a role to be played in mentoring junior staff in the future. Strong communication skills are required as you will be responsible for undertaking a busy and challenging workload that will require to liaise frequently with clients, colleagues and Local Authorities.
