We are looking for a Regeneration Manager (1 post) to join our Growth and Development team.
Reporting to the Head of Growth and Partnerships you will be working across the regions to deliver and shape Onwards regeneration programme in line with key priority regeneration areas or estates. You will work closely with the Head of Growth & partnerships, tenants and other public and private sector partners to lead the delivery of major housing regeneration initiatives within our own estates and stock portfolio.
You will develop and implement a range of physical housing based regeneration projects, shaping, developing and assessing the suitability and feasibility of regeneration options from conception, through to approvals, procurement and delivery and also appraise regeneration opportunities in accordance with market intelligence, government policy, funding requirements and opportunities, the asset strategy along with neighbour and customer needs.
You will support and lead the commissioning and co-ordination of all necessary master-plans, capacity studies, feasibilities, options appraisals and design briefs and develop and agree appropriate regeneration delivery strategies for each regeneration area and implement, manage and monitor the timely delivery of these plans, strategies and studies to ensure effective action and guide effective change.
You will work with a range of key development partners, senior managers and operational housing teams on the delivery of regeneration projects and initiatives ensuring appropriate communication, consultation and estate management approaches for the defined regeneration areas, identifying, building and developing an extensive network of internal and external partnerships to ensure that the interests of the organisation are represented.
You will have experience of estate based / housing led regeneration including remodelling; refurbishment and re-provision of existing stock within either a public sector, housing association or commercial setting and demonstrable financial knowledge in managing capital development related budgets with experience and understanding of construction contracts and financial appraisals.
You will have experience of delivering on complex projects and managing multi-disciplinary project teams (internal & external partners) and commissioning and managing work from external consultants.
Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) with a proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and customers are essential.
You will also be educated to degree level or equivalent in related housing / property based specialism.
