Knowsley is an ambitious authority which is striving for huge economic and housing growth over the next 15 years, supporting the growth ambitions of the wider Liverpool City Region. Fantastically connected, beautifully green and alive with opportunity, Knowsley is an exciting place to work.

The Strategic Regeneration Service aims to ensure that the Council is best placed to maximise investment through a prioritised pipeline of projects and area focussed masterplans to support physical infrastructure delivery across the borough.

The post holder will be required to conduct feasibility works and support the implementation and monitoring of the Growth pipelines across transport, housing, economic development and town centres. The post will support the commissioning of internal and external resources and help to identify effective solutions to strategic risk and manage key stakeholder expectations.

Candidates must therefore have a wide breadth of relevant experience and an understanding of regeneration, have experience of commissioning services and supporting senior officers to help to find solutions to unlock factors which may block growth.

Home to some of the UK’s most successful businesses and with a proud industrial and manufacturing heritage, Knowsley is an established home for business and a great place to live and work.

If you are interested in supporting Knowsley to meet its future ambitions and would like an informal discussion please contact Sue Callister on 0151 443 2092.

This vacancy attracts flexible working and casual car user allowance.

Closing date: Thursday 18 August 2016
