We are looking for a well-rounded planner to be part of our growing team. You can expect to be involved in a wide range of development management and policy work supporting our private and public sector clients. You will work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team determining planning applications, preparing evidence to support development proposals, local plans and community projects in addition to representing clients at committee, appeal hearings and local plan examination.
Who are we looking for?
Do you have a passion for good planning and want to play an integral role in a wide range of exciting projects? We are looking for someone with a minimum of two years experience in development management based work within the private or public sector and ideally be a chartered town planner. You must have excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and be a committed and adaptable worker. We are always keen to improve our approach and the way in which we advise and support our clients and we want someone who shares this attitude. We pride ourselves on having excellent working relationships with clients, local authorities and other consultants and so being personable and enthusiastic is also key trait we are looking for. Applicants should also have a full driving licence and access to a car is preferable.

We are based in Macclesfield town centre. A historic market town, Macclesfield is full of character and vibrancy. It is conveniently located and has good transport links to Manchester and London.
