Between 2017 and 2019, Manchester Life will open 860 homes for rent across four sites in Ancoats and New Islington.
Reporting to the managing director, the Head of Building Services will oversee the handover and commissioning of our portfolio, establish and be responsible for operating a building services regime to ensure compliance with all relevant legislation.
By providing effective leadership and management of the back of house team across all four sites, you will ensure the delivery of an exceptional level of customer service, safety and satisfaction.
Additionally you will manage risk assessments to ensure that all building services procedures and activities are designed to safeguard the portfolio of assets, standards and value.
Key competencies, skills and expertise
- NEBOSH or IOSH qualification
- A minimum of three years’ experience in the role of Facilities Manager or Assistant Manager, managing a portfolio of residential buildings
- Proven experience of new building handover, rectification period defects and guarantees
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Positive and flexible attitude
- Discreet and trustworthy
- Responsive problem solver
