Liverpool Mutual Homes is a North West housing association based in Merseyside, managing over 15,000 homes. LMH has built close to 1,000 new homes since 2012 and is now expanding both the scale and diversity of its new build investment. LMH’s Development Programme aims to build 400 new homes per year for a range of rental and home ownership tenures across the region through its annual development capital programme of over £50m.
Due to our growth and expansion we are looking for an experienced individual up for the challenge of winning new opportunities across the North West.
About the Role
The LMH Group is seeking talented and enthusiastic Project Manager to work in its New Business Development Team. The successful candidates will assist in identifying, procuring and delivering development schemes. This includes developing new partnerships, identifying opportunities and appraising sites in order add to our growing portfolio.
The role of the Project Manager will involve working closing with Development Managers to contribute to the planning and design of new homes for affordable rent, market rent and a range of home ownership tenures and to ensure that LMH delivers an appropriate product on time, to budget and in line with market demand. Close liaison with the sales team is also essential to effectively deliver sales completions.

This is a permanent role and will be based in our Liverpool city centre office, however travel across the North West will be required on a regular basis.

You will be able to demonstrate experience in understanding housing markets, planning and delivering new build housing or regeneration projects and programmes.
Dedicated and professional, you will need to have the flexibility and enthusiasm to rise to the challenge of managing large capital projects and delivering new homes. As an integral part of delivering the service, you must have excellent communication skills, be a confident decision maker and be able to influence people at all levels to ensure projects successfully progress on time and to budget.
You will be expected to demonstrate experience in the delivery of new affordable housing, financial appraisal and budget management skills along with a strong understanding of development finance and HCA systems.
