An excellent opportunity has become available for a Development Engineer based in the North West. This role focusses around the design and specification of large earthworks projects. If you’re a civil, geotechnical or mining engineer with experience of providing design and construction support to landfill projects, it’s an opportunity to use your specialist knowledge and increase your skills. Candidates will also be considered who have experience in the quarrying/mining industry.
The company are expanding their overseas services in the provision of landfill design and waste management facility construction support, with a focus on the Middle East, Asia and Africa. You’ll supervise sites for large earthware projects, and design and manage site investigations. Practical experience of the development, design and construction support in one or more of the following: landfills, quarries, mining impoundments, waste management facilities and associated infrastructure, will ensure success.
It’s also an opportunity to be involved in varied projects including: brownfield land development, highways, surface water management, waste management facility infrastructure, geotechnics, planning applications, EIA, waste permit applications and contract management across a number of countries.
If you have a relevant degree in civil/geotechnical or mining engineering, with a detailed understanding of construction contracts (e.g. ICE / NEC / FIDIC), and recent landfills experience, please apply.
