An opportunity exists for a Commercial Manager to join a leading commercial fit-out contractor based in the North West.

This role would ideally suit an individual who can demonstrate experience in a similar commercial management capacity or a candidate who has worked as a senior estimator / building surveyor and has the ability to communicate well across all levels, working closely with clients in order to understand their key project drivers and deliverables.

The Commercial Manager would be responsible for negotiating and managing contract proposals and working alongside key stakeholders in order to ensure client requirements are captured at pre-construction stage and subsequently implemented and delivered by managing a detailed handover to the delivery team.

Applicants must be able to demonstrate a strong commercial background in terms of carrying out an initial assessment of the project and managing fee proposal submissions, possess excellent management skills and have a good understanding of both traditional and design and build contracts within the commercial fit out and refurbishment market, with contracts ranging in value from circa £500K – £3m+.

As an award-winning contractor delivering CAT A and CAT B office fit outs, priority will be given to candidates who are able to provide details of a strong project portfolio, particularly in relation to working directly with tenants / end users and workplace designers to create and deliver high quality office environments that are tailored to the client organisation, underpinning their brand culture and values.

This role would involve acting as a client interface throughout the project which will enable the successful candidate to see the project through from pre-construction to project completion and is therefore a rewarding opportunity.
