We’re now looking for an ambitious developing QS to join us and help drive exceptional value from our £300m worth of annual Capex programmes. As a Capital and Lifecycle Cost Manager you’ll be a key member of our Value Development Team, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to develop capital and life cycle cost models which support our businesses requirements and ensure the Group’s cost-to-build ratio compares favourably with our competitors. Experiencing fresh challenges every day, you’ll develop strong relationships with technical and asset management colleagues and third party experts to build and maintain a suite of models which will provide crucial insight and deliver significant cost reductions for our business.
We want to talk to quantity surveyors who have experience in cost modelling, are RICS accredited (or working towards), with an analytical mindset and who are great problem solvers. You’ll have key skills in cost planning, estimating and life cycle costing. We’ll need you to be dynamic, driven and commercially astute and you should have a natural ability to build strong collaborative relationships with people at all levels.
