The successful applicant will fill a newly-created role and work at the highest level interacting directly with the CEO, finance director and acquisitions director. They will be responsible for sourcing new acquisitions across the group’s established investment business and also a new offering targeted at residential developers and their lenders. The target markets for our offerings run into many billions of pounds of potential acquisitions each year which will allow substantial earnings potential and the ability to advance within the group

Landmark Investments Group was established in 2000 and has grown year on year. As the team is relatively small and lean, the role will be best suited to a highly motivated self-starter.

The right person will have the following skills and experience:

  • Commercially astute with excellent communication and time management skills
  • Highly ambitious – this is a both highly demanding and rewarding role
  • Determined, confident, tenacious, resilient and focused (to name a few!)
  • Ability to identify leads, targets and fertile areas of new business
  • Negotiating and closing on transactions
  • An eye for detail as the output of the individual is representative of the Landmark brand
  • Minimum of 2+ years field based B2B sales experience- Essential
  • Strong track record of new business development experience – Essential
  • Backgrounds in property, direct or indirect, preferred but not essential
  • Be able to work under their own initiative with minimal supervision

Responsibilities include but are not restricted to:

  • Liaising with solicitors and vendors during the acquisition process
  • Raising the company profile by attending external events and entertaining clients
  • Working with the Head of Marketing to ensure a regular flow of activity to generate leads and interest
  • Maintaining regular and relevant contact with new and established clients and contacts
  • Undertaking appraisals and demonstrating justifications for new acquisitions
  • Understanding market changes and how to adapt and benefit from the same
  • Interacting with the business owners to provide feedback on a regular basis

There will be a competitive basic package with a very generous commission structure to align your success with that of the group. Once proven there will be the option for equity participation. The working hours will require some flexibility but generally speaking will be usual office hours Monday-Friday, ultimately you will be judged on your output rather than input
